x² + 3x - 5x - 5 - 3 = 0

x² - 2x - 8 = 0

on calcule le discriminant

Δ = (-2)² - 4* 1 *(-8) = 4 + 32 = 36 = 6²

il y a deux solutions

x1 = (2 - 6)/2 = -4/2 = -2     et      x2 = (2 + 6)/2 = 8/2 = 4

S = {-2 ; 4}
