EXPLICATIONS

On utilise le prétérit de l'auxiliaire DO => DID pour former les phrases interrogatives : did + sujet + Base Verbale

pour les phrases négatives : sujet + did + not + Base Verbale.

La Base Verbale est la forme du verbe non conjugué (infinitif)

MAIS pour BE, celui-ci étant déjà un auxiliaire, on n'utilise pas DID

interrogation : was/were + sujet + ?

négation   : sujet + was/were  + not
