  • Réponse :

    Bonjour,

    Jenny is tired.

( to be tired = être fatigué )

--> I am tired / you are tired / she is tired ...

    2. " Who is she?" "She's my friend from London"

    ( "Qui est-elle ?" " C'est mon amie de Londres" )

    3. Today is Wednesday. Yesterday it was Tuesday.

    ( Aujourd'hui c'est mercredi. Hier c'était mardi )

---> prétérit de "it is " = it was

    4. It's Thursday today. Tomorrow it will be  Friday.

    ( Aujourd'hui c'est jeudi. Demain ce sera vendredi )

---> futur  de "it is" = it will be

    5. There are lots of animals in the zoo.

    There are + pluriel = il y a    ex : There are lions ( il y a des lions )

There is + singulier = il ya      ex: There is a lion ( il y a un lion )

    6. How many people are there in your family?

    7. "Has Steve got a sister?" "No, he hasn't , but he's got 2 brothers."

Il s'agit d'une réponse courte ( short answer. Il faut reprendre l'auxiliaire de la question . )

    8. Where does Sarah live?

Does : auxiliaire ( indispensable pour poser la plupart des questions ) à la troisième personne du singulier au présent

    9. Did Mary go  to London on the train yesterday?

Did : auxiliaire au prétérit ( car "yesterday )+ Sujet + BV

Dans les questions au prétérit, la marque du prétérit n'est que dans l'auxiliaire ( le verbe n'est  jamais conjugué )

    10. Jack speaks English, Spanish and a bit of French.

    Jack = 3ème personne du singulier ( donc "s" )

    ;)
